A documentary about healing.jpg

In 2017, I began producing and directing The Monster Inside Me, a feature documentary that follows the healing journey of my wife, Frances, while uncovering the hidden epidemic of Lyme disease. What began as an intimate, personal story soon became a six-year odyssey across 15 states, where we met patients, doctors, and families whose struggles and resilience forever reshaped the way we saw the world.

The experience not only transformed our own lives, it gave voice

to thousands of others fighting to be heard. For many, the film

became a source of hope in the face of despair, and it helped ignite

grassroots political movements in states across the country.

Released in 2022, the film has since been viewed in more than 45

countries, continuing to resonate with audiences who see their own

battles reflected on screen. At its core, it is a story about resilience,

love, and the universal fight to be believed.

Made on a modest budget of $200,000 funded by private investors,

The Monster Inside Me went on to win several awards, including Best

Film at the Show Low Film Festival in Arizona, proving that even deeply

personal stories can spark a global conversation.

The Shifting (2024)

-is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi short that showcased my ability to deliver atmosphere and emotion on a lean budget. Made for just $15,000, the film premiered at the Beverly Hills Film Festival and went on to win two awards on the circuit.

More than a genre exercise, The Shifting became a stepping stone — a project that taught me how to push narrative and emotional weight within tight constraints, lessons I carry into my larger work today.
